  • Be the primary source of state registration, vendor registration with customers, annual reporting, sales tax, etc. 

  • Lead tax process – sales tax, annual state taxes, federal, etc.

Management

  • Attend Weekly Management Team Meetings 

  • Strategic and tactical guidance and support

  • Help work towards “OKR” or similar frameworks

  • Assist with various special projects beyond Accounting/Finance/HR/Operations 

  • Attend board meetings as company CFO 

  • Provide any requested input on HR including Leadership Coaching (onboarding, offboarding, L&D, hiring, etc)

  • Provide any requested input on legal matters, compliance, and IT

Finance

  • Plan of Record (POR) creation, updating, and maintenance as the business evolves

  • Forecasting and monitoring of budget vs. actual 

  • Creation of KPIs in POR to report against (standard SaaS metrics) 

  • Reporting to financial institutions and investors

  • Contract and Pipeline cleanup and forecasting

  • Budget creation & tracking 

  • Board of Directors (BOD) Deck preparation 

  • Partnership and M&A assistance

Sales Operations

  • CRM audit & management  

  • Create Order-to-Cash measures

  • Create CRM training materials  

  • Ongoing maintenance of CRM

People/HR Operations

  • Payroll

  • Onboarding/Off-Boarding

  • Employee Relations

  • Benefits Administration & Renewals
